These terms apply when you access TypoFind, play the daily misspelled words quiz, browse the word library, or submit a score to the leaderboard.

Use of Typofind

TypoFind is provided for spelling practice, proofreading practice, education, and entertainment. You may use the site for personal, classroom, and editorial practice as long as you follow these terms and use the service in a lawful and respectful way.

Daily challenge rules

The daily challenge asks you to choose the correct spelling from four options. Scores are based on correct answers and time. The scoring formula, word list, clue wording, reset time, and challenge format may change as the game improves.

Leaderboard

Leaderboard names are public. Do not submit names that are abusive, hateful, sexually explicit, harassing, misleading, impersonating another person, advertising-heavy, or otherwise harmful to the service. We may edit, hide, reset, or remove entries that appear fraudulent, automated, offensive, or inconsistent with fair play.

Fair play

Do not use bots, scripts, automated requests, exploits, database abuse, or other methods to manipulate scores, flood submissions, scrape aggressively, or interfere with the site. We may block traffic, delete records, or change ranking rules to protect the game.

Word list and educational content

TypoFind includes spelling words, misspelling patterns, clues, examples, and explanatory articles. The content is designed to help users notice common spelling traps, but it is not a substitute for professional editing, legal writing review, academic review, or dictionary verification in high-stakes contexts.

Intellectual property

The TypoFind name, logo, site design, quiz format, original explanations, and page content are owned by the site operator or licensed for use. You may link to TypoFind and share your score, but you may not copy the site, clone the leaderboard, or reuse substantial parts of the content as a competing service without permission.

User submissions

When you submit a leaderboard name or score, you allow TypoFind to display, store, rank, moderate, and remove that submission as needed to operate the service. You are responsible for the text you submit.

Third-party services

TypoFind may use third-party infrastructure such as hosting, database, analytics, or security providers. Your use of the site may also be subject to those providers' terms and policies where applicable.

Availability

The service is provided as available. TypoFind may change, pause, remove, or reset features, pages, rankings, statistics, or stored data as the game and database evolve. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every score will always be preserved.

No warranties

TypoFind is provided without warranties of any kind. We try to keep clues, answers, and spelling explanations accurate, but errors may happen. Use your own judgment and consult authoritative references when accuracy is important.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of TypoFind, including lost data, lost rankings, or reliance on quiz content.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as TypoFind changes. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
